Family-owned restaurant—now established near Downtown Las Vegas under the ownership and management of Daniela and operating as “Agave y Sal Mexican Grill”— continues to serve authentic Mexican seafood in a warm, festive atmosphere, backed by over 20 years of hospitality experience through ownership of “El Rincon Catracho.”

2003 – Foundations: Daniela founds and successfully operates El Rincon Catracho in Las Vegas, building 20+ years of hospitality experience.
March 20, 2003
The birth of his menu
2003–2024 – Previously “El Cazador”, the restaurant earns a reputation for homestyle cooking, warm tortillas, and family-style service.
July 10, 2025
New Ownership
2025 – New ownership & name: Daniela acquires the restaurant and opens the next chapter as “Agave y Sal Mexican Grill”.

Restaurant rebranding
2025 – Full remodel, same soul: Kitchen, dining room, and bar are refreshed to enhance service while preserving family recipes, fresh ingredients, and the beloved flavors
